laptop beach  Brits warm to taking laptops on holidayRecent studies show that brits are finding it more and more difficult to separate work and pleasure with a recent study by YouGov and Softwareload.co.uk revealing that one in ten men admits to working while on holiday.The statistic might sound all too drastic (representing 9% of total people asked), startling however is that the vast majority of Britons asked in the nationwide survey (92 %) would have nothing against their loved ones or relatives taking a laptop on holiday with them. read more

Armed with walking boots and euros, I suddenly found myself bogged down by some unwelcome weight, and it wasn’t shopping! Ah, travel guides.

Much as I love them, incisive travel books are often bulky and heavy, and can seriously detract from a good day’s exploration. There’s all that stopping, sifting through your bag, finding the right page and then reading up on the monument or to check on your location. read more
