Microsoft Fix it Center released

Fixit man.jpg Microsoft Fix it Center releasedMicrosoft has released the Beta version of their Fix It Center, designed to find and fix common problems that PC users may come across when using Windows. Unlike the host of utilities already available on the web Windows users, Fix It Center is designed so that it can be used by the average computer user, so you don’t have to be a crack or know the inner workings of your computer’s registry cleaner.

Available for users of Windows 7, Vista and XP, Fix It Center scans your PC and connected peripherals allowing it to adjust results to your individual needs based on your hardware setup. Not only is it able to repair most typical and common problems without the user having to do anything, but it also prevents problems by checking your machine for issues and installing updates.

On installation, the latest troubleshooting tools will be downloaded to your machine from Microsoft, with 2 setup possibilities when troubleshooting your machine: you can choose to find issues and then fix them automatically, or find issues before notifying you of the problem which allows you to decide which problems to fix.

One catch is that in order to be able to download Fix It Center, you must have a Windows Live account, as is the case when downloading other Windows ‘Live’ software applications. A profile is created for you, so that you can use Fix It on any computer that you want to, and the information related to each individual machine will be linked to your account information.

Although first in the Beta stage, there are high hopes that Microsoft’s Fix It Center will save many the necessity of getting tech support and empowering users to better manage their own PC in the future. Download the Fix It Center Beta version now and try it out for yourself.
